If you will be using WeatherScope, remember to sign up with Apixu and get your own free API key. You will see in the code where it is used when the call is made to the Apixu URL. I haven't set up any limit on how often the weather info can be refreshed, so it would be easy to exceed their download limit if users don't get their own keys.
The only thing that gets me down is gravity...

If this helps, I reduced to opacity of your scope image to 60 percent.

The text seems to stand out better.

Thanks. I set mine the way I like it, but you are welcome to adjust it. You don't have to modify the actual background image. Just set DRAW ALPHA in the code just before the background image is drawn.
The only thing that gets me down is gravity...

That's right. I haven't done too much with ALPHA so I will try it.

As a photographer, I'm used to adjusting the photo itself.
